Through the Artist's Eye - Student Portal

Welcome ESVA Students to the Registration Portal to enter the Shore History Art Challenge in celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary where you will be asked “ What does America’s story mean to me?” We look forward to your participation. Please follow the guidelines on the syllabus and reach out to: Marketing@shorehistory.org or to your teacher with any questions.

All works must be created in February - April 2026, submitted to Shore History no later than May 1, 2026 to be considered for awards. There will be scholarships/prizes awarded at a Reception At Ker Place on May 14th at 6:00 pm where students, teachers and family will be invited.

The works will be on view inside Ker Place from May 15 - June 10. Artists are invited to to show and sell their artwork, at an outdoor Art Show held on Saturday June 13th from 11:00am - 3:00pm on the lawn at Shore History during the Town of Onancock SailFest250 weekend. The student work will be displayed along with other community artists works celebrating the theme. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for ‘Best in Show’ and Favorite Artist ribbons during the show. Artwork must be picked up following the June 13 show.
