Discover the fascinating history of the Chesapeake Bay—on the big screen!

Shore History invites you to a special documentary screening of “Steamboats on the Chesapeake” at the Roseland Theater in Onancock. This film tells the story of the steamboats that connected Chesapeake Bay communities from 1813 to 1962 - powering commerce, travel, and life on the Eastern Shore.

There will be two showings, one Thursday, February 19 at 7:00 p.m., and a Saturday matinee on February 21 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are just $10, and all proceeds benefit Shore History.
