Step back in time with Shore History at Living History on the Lawn, taking place Saturday, Oct. 11, on the front lawn of Ker Place, located at 69 Market Street in Onancock. This engaging, family-friendly event brings the 18th century to life with Revolutionary War-era military and civilian reenactors, Indigenous interpreters, traditional tradespeople, and local craftsmen.
The VA250 Mobile Museum Experience will be present from Thursday, October 9 to Saturday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will be parked in the parking lot of Market Street Methodist Church near the fence line bordering Ker Place.
Stroll through our historical grounds, witness live demonstrations of colonial-era skills and trades, and discover the stories of the Eastern Shore during the Revolutionary War. Food vendors and local artisans will be on-site, offering tastes and treasures inspired by the region’s rich heritage.
Admission is free and open to all. Mark your calendars and join us as history comes alive on the lawn at Ker Place!
